to 4:00 or 5:00 something like that through the central bay. the forecast overnight lows, 38 in napa, 38 in the santa rosa area, 37. the valley fog is tonight just because the grounds are wet there's high clouds overhead but the humid tis are high, relative humiditys are high so good shot at valley fog. i know everybody is out driving around so be prepared for dense patches of valley fog. and you know where they are especially in the north bay or east bay especially in the south bay. if it's typically there in the wintertime, it'll be there tonight. so today will turn out to be a drier day. as we head into tomorrow afternoon showers show up. it's a nice-looking system. it doesn't appear to be huge. it doesn't appear to have a lot of potential for floogd rains, but a quarter of an inch to half inch for most of us. some areas could see afrnl and if you get into coastal, could see a couple inches. so i said this earlier in the news cast on channel 2 at 5:00 and 6:00, the ground saturate. so it happen to rain could give you some slippage up on skyline boulevard so we'll be watching it fo

morning and late tonight. if you're in someone's house and you're driving out to napa you're going to have problems with valley fog. so be prepared for that. then the clouds increase so today we were dry, then tomorrow the system comes in. it's scale of one to 10 it's probably about a seven. that thing on sunday is probably about a nine. rainfall accumulations quarter of an inch to half an inch. that's for most of us but if you go up in the hills you will finds 3-inches of rain in the general area. rain coming, here's how the computer model lays it out. here we are at 7:00 a.m. just cloudy christmas morning. then at 3:00 the rain starts to move into the central bay. that's when the storm really hits. then around 6:00 it's already pushing through into the south bay and we're already starting to see some breaks into the north bay. as we get into the early morning it's clearing out but in the mountains a winter storm warning will likely be in effect. we'll have storm levels that are down and maybe one to two feet of winter snow. if you're going to the mountains leave early and get out

to 2013 and you definitely want to bundle up during this time period. 38 in santa rosa, 39 napa and san francisco 45 degrees. but you can leave the umbrellas at home. leave the thick jackets close by for the walk down the restaurant or down the street. it'll be very chilly out there. we'll increase the high clouds by the afternoon hours. first thing tomorrow morning as we mention it'll be clear and cold. the afternoon hours, the system approaches the bay area and falls apart. but it will be strong enough to generate for clouds. we're going to hang on to that slight chance tomorrow afternoon into the early parts of monday evening. tomorrow morning showing you the clear skies and look what happens, we'll take this into the afternoon hours. the clouds on the increase. so that will be the over all trend for tomorrow afternoon between 2:00 and 5:00. look what happens tomorrow night. late monday night and early tuesday morning the clouds do move out of town. so clearing skies as we do head into early tuesday. and temperatures do still in the cold side once again first thing tuesday mornin
